Wendy Cassidy

Wendy Cassidy has been a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service for 18+ years. She has spent 12 of those years investigating financial and cybercrimes to include counterfeit currency, identity theft, mortgage fraud, credit card abuse, bank fraud, network intrusion, business email compromise, ransomware, access device fraud, and child exploitation/child sexual abuse cases. During her tenure at the Dallas Field Office for the last five (5) years, Agent Cassidy has investigated more than 100 computer-related cases and has recovered more than $32M in fraudulently lost funds for individuals, companies, and organizations, both public and private.

Agent Cassidy has participated in numerous cyber security presentations, table-top exercises, and panel discussions in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex involving all levels of business from entry level employees and technicians to IT management and corporate upper management. Agent Cassidy is a graduate of the University of Texas and the University of Houston Law Center and is a former prosecutor for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, Tx.
