Supervisory Special Agent at FBI

FBI Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Robert K. Price manages the FBI’s Cyber/Computer Intrusion Program for the Tampa Division, covering the Middle District of Florida. He holds a BS in Management and a MS in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. He entered on duty with the FBI in 2004 and served in Fresno and Los Angeles California, investigating a variety of Criminal and National Security Cyber matters, as well as violent crimes and acts of terrorism against U.S. persons and U.S. interests in Southeast and South Asia. Mr. Price has served in the Cyber Division at FBI Headquarters where he also managed the FBI’s Cyber Action Team. In 2013, he served a long-term assignment as the Cyber Assistant Legal Attaché (ALAT) in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2017, he was selected to serve as the Assistant Legal Attaché in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, where he was responsible for all FBI operations in seven Caribbean nations. In July 2020, Mr. Price assumed leadership of the Lakeland Resident Agency and in August 2021 he was asked to lead the Tampa Cyber Investigations squad. He has represented the FBI in more than twenty countries and has been involved in the FBI’s response to several high-profile terrorist attacks. From 2008 until his appointment to Port of Spain, he was a senior member of the Los Angeles FBI Underwater Search and Evidence Response Team. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Price was an Associate Laboratory Manager and Adjunct Professor at Ball State University where he taught Advanced Computer Internetworking at the Master level.
