As MetLife’s IT Risk & Security Director of Strategy and Planning, Nydia Assaf Aragon leads the integration of strategic maturity opportunities across all security framework domains. She prides herself in optimizing delivery by simplifying processes and empowering teams.
Nydia led the development of MetLife’s rules extraction for omnichannel data modernization. She also led the transition of MetLife’s Retail Life business to Brighthouse Financial, and received company-wide recognition for these accomplishments in both 2017 and 2018.
Nydia is the co-founder of Thrive, a coalition of RTP companies committed to Diversity and Inclusion. She founded the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Women’s Business Network and serves as Chair of it’s Cary Business Partnership. Her backgrounds include data science, electronic engineering, cognitive behavioral therapy, and healthcare. An entrepreneur at heart, she enjoys scuba diving and cultivating human potential.
