Mike joined Cadrillion Capital in March 2018 as their Chief Information Officer and Security Officer. Mike is responsible for driving IT and Cybersecurity strategy for Cadrillion and their portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Cadrillion Capital, Mike was at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated where he led the Information Security team. Since 1987, he has worked in the IS/IT arena with extensive international experience in Network Security and Enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
In 2014, while serving as CIO of AGDATA, Mike won the Charlotte Business Journal’s CIO of the Year for small/medium businesses.
Before joining CCBCC, Mike worked in various positions for AGDATA, Juniper Networks, Triad Hospitals, Ericsson and Sprint.
Mike got his start in IT while serving 12 years in the U.S. Air Force working on systems ranging from mainframe computers to mobile telephone switches to supporting networks. He was recognized during his Air Force Career winning the Leo Marquez award, an Air Force-wide award, as the Outstanding Electronics and Communications Supervisor for 1998.
He studied Computer Information Systems at McKendree College, IL and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
