Michael Dorsey

Michael Dorsey is the Chief Tradecraft Officer of the Undercroft, a Cybersecurity guild located in the historic Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa focused on building the awareness and skills of existing Information Security professionals, creating economic security for our members, residents, and partners, and providing the community locally (and soon abroad!) opportunities to learn from and interact with recognized experts in the field.

Michael is currently spearheading the initiative to bring current, up-to-date cybersecurity training to those in the state of Florida who are looking to increase their skills or who have been displaced due to recent events and want to pivot into Information Security. GWAPT – GIAC Certified Web Application Penetration Tester
GCFA – GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst

Michael provides mentorship and training to a number of Information Security professionals across the United States, as well as community outreach through organizations like STEMConnect to educate students in K-12 through schools throughout the state of Florida. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from WGU University.

In his free time, Michael focuses on Security Research and Training Development, playing CTFs, playing guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.
