Meg is the Chief Information Security Officer of Principal Financial Group, a 140-year-old Fortune® 500 global financial services company. She leads the Information Security and Risk team and is responsible for security operations and strategy, informed by six business information security officers around the world.
Since 2017 Meg has served on the FS-ISAC Board of Directors and currently chairs the Strategy Committee.
Meg is the chair of the Technology Association of Iowa CISO Roundtable. Meg serves as a CISO advisor for a cybersecurity venture capitalist firm, and sits on various vendor CISO groups.
Meg earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa in Management Information Systems.
