Maryam Meseha, esq. is a founding partner at Pierson Ferdinand LLP, a tech-enabled law firm, and is an experienced data privacy and cybersecurity attorney. Leveraging her years of experience in litigation, Maryam focuses her practice in the areas of Cyber Security, Data Protection, AI and Risk Management. Prior to coming to Pierson Ferdinand LLP, Maryam served as the Co-Chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice group, as well as the Co-Chair of the Crisis & Risk Management practice group, at a large regional law firm. 

Maryam works to counsel businesses of all sizes on their data privacy obligations against regulatory schemes and industry best practices. She offers legal advice on the governance and implementation of AI focusing on data protection, intellectual property security, bias mitigation and building a framework for legal and ethical AI use. 

In addition, Maryam works across a variety of industries as they develop internal systems to manage data privacy and security, from inception of those principles to enterprise-wide implementation. Maryam also acts as data breach counsel to a wide range of companies, where Maryam leads breach response investigations and works with clients’ internal IT and digital forensics to ensure legal compliance based on local, state, and federal regulations, as well as in accordance with contractual obligations.
