Kirk Holmes is CEO of Holmes and Associates, a consultancy providing thought leadership, C-level advisory, C-level advisory services, and IT transformation through cutting edge technology. As an executive, he is a CIO, CISO, and board member with broad functional skills in addition to over 40 years of experience and thought leadership in technology and cybersecurity. Additional core competencies include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, financial analysis and cost control, diversity and equity, and organizational change. He serves on multiple advisory boards and boards of directors, including for a Cybersecurity-focused venture investment fund. He has served as Fractional CIO and Fractional CISO for multiple clients ranging from Fortune 50 firms to large government agencies and to nonprofits. Kirk has also been a pioneer and global industry leader in different fields of information technology, quality, and telecommunications. He received an electrical engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds multiple certifications in cybersecurity, information technology, quality, corporate board governance, and artificial intelligence.
