As Chief Information Officer for Alliant Health Solutions, John is responsible for all Information Technology systems, solutions, and integrations provided for customers, partners, and internal staff. John has more than 15 years of healthcare IT experience, working with its private and public sector customers to identify, develop, deploy, and maintain business aligned solutions. Since joining Alliant, he has overseen the implementation of solutions that support Alliant’s broad customer needs and requirements in areas of utilization and compliance review, fraud, prior authorization and utilization management, and quality improvement, along with its growth from a single location to six offices across the Southeast.
Prior to joining Alliant, Slaughter worked in various customer facing technology roles for Accenture, Hewitt Associates and Saba Software. He is currently a member of Decatur United First Methodist Church, Atlanta Track Club, and TAG, and serves on the Inspiredu Executive Leadership Council. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.
