Jeff White currently serves as a Homeland Security Investigations, Special Agent assigned to the Office of the Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Raleigh, NC. Agent White is currently assigned to the narcotics and financial investigation group and is the senior agent in the HSI Raleigh Digital Forensic Lab.
Agent White began his career in federal service with the US Customs Service in El Paso, TX in 2000. Agent White was previously assigned to the HSI Offices in Durango, CO and Albany, GA before transferring to the Raleigh, NC Office.
Agent White has been a digital forensic examiner since 2012 and conducts digital examinations on a wide variety of electronic evidence in support of HSI investigations. He holds multiple certifications in digital forensics from the Department of Homeland Security, SANS Institute and the National White Collar Crime Center.
Beginning in 2018 Agent White began to teach at the International Law Enforcement Academies. He has provided instruction on cybercrime and computer forensics in El Salvador, Hungary, Thailand, Portugal, and Spain. In 2022 Agent White was assigned to the US Embassy as the HSI Cyber Liaison for the UK.
