Hassan El-Masri is a highly skilled Security Strategist with over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. His extensive expertise spans various networking domains, and he is a recognized leader in cybersecurity, having worked across multiple sectors.
His focus areas include cyber-security research, identity access management, and deception technologies. Before joining Fortinet, Mr. El-Masri developed a proactive notification system to automate the telecom outage notification strategy and successfully designed solutions for many of the most challenging information security issues related to identity, secure communication, and intrusion prevention for federal and commercial security undertakings.
Mr. El-Masri founded ZOINIA, a nonprofit organization, in 2016. They aim to drive social change through art, music, and short film documentaries. Their educational program empowers artists and uses media and technology to impact the world positively. Their exceptional work was recognized when their documentary, Lyrics of Sada, won the prestigious San Francisco Indy Film Festival in 2020.
