Gary Glover

Gary Glover has had a formidable cybersecurity career over the past eighteen years. He has helped perform hundreds of assessments and overseen thousands of them as Vice President of Assessments. He has earned CISSP, CISA, and QSA certifications and is constantly seeking new opportunities to enhance his cybersecurity knowledge.

Cybersecurity is Gary’s third career. He began his career as a mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University. As an aerospace engineer he worked on classified government projects, US Space Station, single stage to orbit rockets, and Mars rovers. Later, when Gary was working in software development, his neighbor and CEO of SecurityMetrics Brad Caldwell invited him to work in the cybersecurity sector. To convince Gary to join SecurityMetrics, Brad pointed out, “well it’s not rocket science”.

Gary is still an aerospace engineer at heart. He loves rockets, airplanes, and airshows. In his spare time, he is currently working towards his private pilot license. He also acquired a love for sailing from growing up in the Pacific Northwest but is not able to sail as much here in Utah. These days he does more skiing.
