Eroica Waggoner

Lt Col Eroica Waggoner serves as the 223 Cyberspace Operations Squadron for the Arkansas Air National Guard as well as the Raytheon Network Operations Center Manager for DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Network Security Deployment Division. As NOC Manager, Eroica is responsible for ensuring the National Cybersecurity Protection System critical services remain available to the federal civilian government and partners. As 223 Commander, Lt Col Waggoner is responsible for the delivery of agile cyberwarfare qualification training and assessments for joint force and multi-sector partners utilizing qualified cyberwarfare operators and an integrated, operationally relevant, cyberspace range for the purpose of National Defense of Critical Infrastructure. Eroica has also served as the Deputy CIO for Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, Deputy Chief Engineer for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, Navy Enterprise Data Center Operations Director, and various other cybersecurity and programmatic roles for the US Air Force and US Navy since 2000 as Active Duty, Government Civilian, and Contractor.

Eroica received a Bachelor of Computer Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Studies from the University of South Alabama in 1999 and a Master of Science in both Project Management and Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University in 2006 and 2007 respectively. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL IT Service Management (ITSM) Foundations, Security Certification and Accreditation, and Systems Engineering Level 2 from Defense Acquisition University.
