Intelligence Analyst at FBI

Erin is an Intelligence Analyst in the FBI’s Cyber Crime Strategic Intelligence Unit where she focuses on a strategic approach to identify trends and aid criminal investigations into ransomware. She is the founder of FBI Cyber Division’s Ransomware Intelligence Team. Erin previously worked as part of the team analyzing threats to the 2020 US elections and business email compromise schemes. Prior to joining the FBI, Erin worked in the Intelligence Community as a strategic nation-state cyber analyst and an embedded tactical analyst for the military. Prior to her work in intelligence, Erin was an Engineer Captain in the Army National Guard and served as an IT Program Manager for a Fortune 500 healthcare company. Erin holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from The American University in Washington, DC and a Master’s Degree in Terrorism and Security Studies from King’s College London. Erin also holds several cyber security certifications.
