Dan Harder is the Vice Chancellor for IT and Chief information Officer at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. In this role, he is responsible for setting the strategy and direction for the enterprise technology needs within the institution. Dan also provides leadership, support, and technology coordination for the colleges of Dentistry, Health Sciences, Health Professions, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy locations across the state of Tennessee. Before arriving at UTHSC, Dan held IT leadership positions at Duke University, Elon University, and Emory University. Dan has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in Project Management from Western Carolina University.
