Cybersecurity Specialist at State of Missouri

Angie is a Cybersecurity Specialist with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) as a liaison between DPS – Office of Homeland Security (OHS) and the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC). In this role, Angie serves as a cyber coordinator and cyber intelligence analyst for Federal, State, and Local entities, as well as a coordinator for the three Missouri Fusion Centers. Angie’s role also consists of the ESF #14 Cybersecurity Lead, being a cyber threat intelligence analyst and outreach and training presenter. In July of 2020, Angie earned her Cyber Intelligence Professional Certification and her Social Media Intelligence Expert Certification from the McAfee Institute. From 2016 to July of 2019, Angie was employed by the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) and acted as a liaison between the MGC and the MIAC. While with the MGC, Angie earned her Fraud Examiner Certification in 2018. Angie worked as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst from 2011 to 2016 at the MIAC. Angie graduated from Drury University with a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice; and in 2009 she graduated from William Woods University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Over the course of Angie’s career, she has assisted law enforcement and the private sector in criminal, financial, and cyber investigations, as well as training on social media/open-source safety and techniques.
