Mike is a seasoned executive with 20 years of cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance experience in the financial services industry. As Nelnet’ Deputy Chief Security Officer, Mike provides vision and strategic leadership for developing and implementing enterprise-wide business technology cybersecurity initiatives and oversees the Nelnet CyberSecurity GRC teams. Mike also serves on the PTA board for his oldest daughter’s school, which tends to be much more stressful than helping to secure a $1bn+ revenue company.
