Mike is the primary author of the DISA STIG and CIS Benchmark for MySQL and was heavily involved in FedRAMP. He's created well over 18 new to market products. At MySQL as the server PM he has contributed to features, enhanced security, development tools, the MySQL repos, backup, and Oracle Cloud DBaaS technologies. As a founder and VP of Products at Gazzang (acq. by Cloudera) he brought to market Linux kernel mod TDE and a SaaS key management products. As a co-founder and head of products at Idera created 5 database management products including SQL Secure, SQL Compliance Manager, and SQLsafe. At PentaSafe (acquired by NetIQ), as Product Author, he created a line of products for Security and Risk assessment of Linux and Web Servers. Mikes experience spans databases, operating systems, security, e-business, oil and gas data management, and trading systems.
