Kevin McCleary is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAIC) in the U.S. Secret Service New York Field Office, where he oversees all criminal investigations. ASAIC McCleary previously served as the supervisor of the New York Field Office Cyber Fraud Task Force (CFTF). The CFTF, in partnership with private sector, academic and federal/state law enforcement partners, investigates high profile cyber breaches and intrusions targeting the financial sector. ASAIC McCleary served as the USSS liaison to the National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance (NCFTA). The NCFTA is a non-profit organization composed of law enforcement, private industry, and academic experts focused on the identification, mitigation and neutralization of cyber threats through strategic alliances between member organizations. ATSAIC McCleary served as an Attaché to the U.S. Embassy in The Hague, NL, where he was a member of Europol’s European Cybercrime Center’s (EC3) Joint Cybercrime Action Task Force (J-CAT). The J-CAT was comprised of cyber investigators from the UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Australia, Austria, Columbia, and the FBI. ATSAIC McCleary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
