Julian is an innovator, cloud native proponent, microservices advocate, security analytics exponent. His favorite colors are red, blue, and purple. Julian runs the solutions engineering team at Uptycs, where for the last three years he’s helped companies secure their IT infrastructure as they make the transition to cloud native.
Prior to that, Julian was with IBM for fourteen years, securing customer databases and applications with encryption and security monitoring tools. His major engagements included the Singapore government, Department of Immigration in Canberra, Australia and Her Majesty’s Revenue Service in London, England. Post 9/11, Julian worked on security software to identify non-obvious relationships between passenger manifests and individuals on watchlists.
