George Cassels

George’s military career started by serving as an enlisted man and finished as a Communications Warrant Officer serving his final six years at Fort Bragg in the 82d Airborne Division, the XVIII Airborne Corp, and the Special Operations Community as a 251A. George attended many leadership schools and typically managed a 10 to 12 person section specializing in systems administration and computer networking and security. During George’s time in and around the military he did three tours to Afghanistan and three to Iraq. George received the Bronze Star for his service in 2002 in Bagram, Afghanistan.

After transitioning from the military George has held several positions including: presales System Engineer at Dell; post sales route/switch CCIE network, security, voice and video Engineer at Cisco; as well as presales Account Executive roles with both Dell and VMware. During his time at VMware George was responsible for endpoint and networking security supporting Army, System Integrators, and Federal accounts. George currently holds the position of Director of Technical Strategy at Telos Corporation and manages a team of cyber technology evangelists that support SLED, Regulated Industries, Healthcare and Enterprise accounts.

George brings 20+ years of networking and security experience in some of the highest most security conscious environments.
