Eric DeSouza is a Security Solutions Engineer for Secureworks supporting customers in the Northeast. In that role, Eric assesses customers’ security needs, provides consulting expertise on improving overall security posture in today’s current threat landscape.
Eric’s career has centered around thought leadership, technical guidance, operational expertise, and talent management. Eric also has direct experience with various security technologies such as firewalls, IDS, endpoint technologies and more. Eric has held various roles, both technical and non-technical in nature such as a security analyst, people manager, product development and security architecture. Beyond his normal day to day job, Eric spends time in cybersecurity philanthropy by spreading knowledge through mentorship programs he delivers directly.
