Ed Adams is a software quality and security expert with over 20 years of experience in the field. He is CEO of Security Innovation and previously held senior management positions at Rational Software, Lionbridge, and MathSoft. He was an engineer for the US Army earlier in his career. Mr. Adams was named a Ponemon Institute Research Fellow, Privacy by Design Ambassador by the Information & Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Forbes Technology Council Member, and recipient of multiple SC Magazine’s Reboot Leadership Awards. He’s on the board of Cyversity, a non-profit committed to advancing underrepresented minorities in the field of cybersecurity.
Mr. Adams has presented to tens of thousands of security professionals at reputable industry events such as RSA Conference (US and Asia), PCI Community Meetings (US and Europe), InfoSec World, and others. He has an upcoming book from Wiley & Sons titled “See Yourself in Cyber: Security Careers Beyond Hacking” and co-authored “The Cyber Elephant in the Boardroom” from Forbes. Mr. Adams is the host of Ed TALKS, an online cybersecurity talk show where experts discuss risk-based approaches to securing modern ecosystems.
