Darren is a 20 year cybersecurity veteran, who started his security journey while working for a local police department. Following that, he sharpened his focus on network security while working for NetScreen and TippingPoint, followed by over a decade with Palo Alto Networks where he expanded in to Cloud and Endpoint security practices. Darren now bringing his diverse security background to his role as a Cybereason Defender, helping to protect our customers from ransomware and breaches. Darren lives in the Bay Area suburb of Livermore (California’s original wine country) with his wife, son, and two daughters (14, 12, and 4). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family skiing, relaxing at the beach, and working on their mini ranch.
