Corey is a 27 yr member of the Saanich Police Department on Vancouver Island and has served in patrol, Mt Bikes, K9, Detectives, Schools and Financial Crimes. Saanich is made up of 180 sworn members and has a population of 120 000. Corey’s current mandate is to position a small department with limited resources and finances to enable them to have a big impact and a seat at the table with much larger private and public cooperation’s. The focus is on our interdepartmental mentorship and international networking initiatives along with organizational and front-line education initiatives. We may be small but through networking and education we are finding enormous success and helping others combat the ever-changing world of cybercrime.
