I have a wide breadth of experience working with C-Level executives including SMB, enterprise and service providers. Leading teams, projects, service delivery are a few key specialties.
My career has provided the opportunity to lead teams through extensive design, implementation, audits, standards, processes, procedures & security initiatives. I have worked with a wide breadth of service provider & enterprise requirements for compliance, compute, analytics, telecommunications and call center solutions.
At Telesphere (Vonage Business) I led multiple projects creating a portfolio of solutions generating over $10 million dollars annually versus $2 million dollars two years prior. A project I initiated at Avnet was a transition to VPN for 80 sales in-plant offices in the Americas saving the company over $500,000 each year in WAN costs and hw/sw maintenance. In addition, a creative approach of business-only internet proxy filtering provided a projected $2+ million cost avoidance in WAN circuit bandwidth requirements over 2 years time; (ISDN and 64k CIR on frame-relay).
I also assisted on the technology side of the Airborne Express acquisition by DHL. The effort involved a data center migration (mainframe included) and solely led the shutdown of the data center consolidation effort.
My career started with help desk, desktop, servers, mainframe, routers, switches, firewalls, sniffers, security, management tools, load balancing, proxies, MPLS, VPNs, WAN Circuits (T1, DS3, OC3 all the way up to OC192) and more. I have designed and implemented DC compute, IaaS, SP networks (LAN/MAN/WAN), BroadSoft BroadWorks, Cisco Call Manager versions 3-10+, UCCE (call center), voice gateways, SBCs and QoS over MPLS.
