Zakk Karrazzi – Data Connectors

I’m a seasoned technologist and a cyber security generalist with over 20 years of hands-on experience in nearly all cyber security technologies and disciplines. I have experience designing complex security solutions for globally distributed terrestrial and cloud environments for the public and private sectors. During my career, I have helped many organizations improve and optimize their security stack and subsequently enhance their detection capabilities while leveraging existing investments. As a cyber security advisor, I use the attacker’s perspective and context for strategizing a security program, and as a technologist, I leverage my experience for quantifying capacity, scalability, and identifying where product capabilities overlap.

I am passionate about reducing mean time to detection. I often lead PurpleTeam engagements where I present cost-effective detection techniques by learning the attack surface, identifying critical attack paths, and employing appropriate security controls.
