William Mangold is the Information Technology and Security Manager at the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA). Holding various titles during his 32-year career with the MCCA, William has held the Information System and Security Manager role for the past 14 years overseeing the organization’s entire IT and security strategy and operations. During his tenure in this role, he spearheaded a company-wide innovation initiative resulting in implementing a managed service program to replace homegrown IT applications. Initiated and lead development of an information security program, which includes governance risk compliance (GRC) and an effective security awareness program.

William has a master’s degree in Business Information Technology (MSBIT) from Walsh College and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is currently supporting the ISSA Motor City Chapter as Treasurer, and actively volunteers time with Greater Detroit ISC2 Chapter.
