Stewart started his career at Managed Service Providers working as a System Administrator/Network Administrator managing customer infrastructure OnPrem and in the Cloud. In Feb 2019, his company was hit with a Ransomware attack through an outdated integration. This crippled networks, halted business operations and took multiple days worth of negotiations with the cyber criminals to remediate then reconstruct security methodologies. Later in 2019, Stewart moved to a technical support position at a Cloud Distributor where he ran lead on Ransomware and other high severity incidents for Customers who purchased Security Products such as SentinelOne, BitDefender, ProofPoint, etc. The experience from supporting customers in the Security space and the desire to help customers configure their security software properly led to moving into a Security Consulting role where he met with Customers to review their security software and how these platforms align with security frameworks such as CIS and NIST CSF in their environment.

Today, Stewart works at SecurityScorecard where he helps Customers and Prospects identify areas of their own risk as well as their Supply Chain Risk through Security Ratings.
