Stephen Nix has been a sworn law enforcement professional for more than thirty years to include positions with the United States Air Force, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, NC Police Department, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. His previous positions as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service included the Presidential Protective Division, Vice-Presidential Protective Division, and the Cyber Intelligence Section.  His time in the Cyber Intelligence Section afforded him significant access and insight into the global fight on cybercrime. He has extensive international experience in furtherance of The Secret Service’s responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the nation’s financial infrastructure and payment systems. Significant investigative assignments in Ukraine strengthened his, and the Services, cooperation with international law enforcement entities. He is currently assigned as the Secret Service Detaille to the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force.   He is a certified computer forensic analyst and earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina.
