Scott Magerfleisch is the CIO/Director of Information Technology for the City of Greeley, the 11th largest city in Colorado, and one of the fastest growing communities in the country.

He leads a team of 30 that supports all technology aspects of the City, including public safety, GIS services, cybersecurity, and any other “technology” related service the City uses or provides. Scott has spoken at many technology and leadership conferences in the past, mainly focusing on leadership fundamentals and technology innovation strategies.

Prior to Greeley, Scott served as the Director of IT for the City of Thornton, and also worked for the City of Westminster. Before entering into services within the public sector, Scott managed the Network Services team for FirstBank. Scott holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and an MBA in Information Technology Management. Most recently, Scott completed a course in Digital Transformation in Government through the Kennedy Business School at Harvard.
