Peter Liebert – Data Connectors

Peter is an award-winning cybersecurity leader, cryptocurrency aficionado, privacy champion, and passionate tabletop gamer. A U.S. Navy veteran, Peter’s previous roles include commander of cyber operations for the California State Guard; CISO and director of the Office of Information Security for the State of California; senior cyber policy and strategy analyst for U.S. Cyber Command; cybersecurity analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense; and Presidential Management Fellow for Chief of Naval Operations. Peter’s last cybersecurity role before LifeOmic was the CISO for Cerner Government Services. In this role he was awarded a spot in the top 50 cybersecurity leaders of 2021 and solidified his passion and expertise in helping secure healthcare networks and applications.

Peter is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, has an MSc in International Security from Cranfield University, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from National Defense University and over a dozen cybersecurity certifications.
