Special Agent (SA) Patrick Wilhelm began his federal law enforcement career with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in 2003 and was assigned to the cyber investigations group in Atlanta, Georgia, where he specialized in child exploitation investigations. In 2005, SA Wilhelm transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina, as child exploitation investigator then later as a digital forensics agent participating in a wide variety of cases requiring analysis of data from computers and mobile devices. In addition to his agency’s training, SA Wilhelm holds multiple industry certifications. In 2020, SA Wilhelm was promoted to the Network Intrusion Section at the HSI Cyber Crimes Center (C3) in Fairfax, Virginia, where he serves as the National Program Manager for Cyber Threat Intelligence. In this role, SA Wilhelm is responsible for coordinating cyber threat intelligence between industry leading cybersecurity partners and the HSI field offices.
