Greg Shields – Data Connectors

Greg Shields is Director, Zero Trust Cloud Strategy at Appgate, where he leads a team focused on product management, development and strategy for Appgate SDP, an industry-leading Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution. Shields works closely with the field and customers to understand their unique requirements, enabling Appgate to deliver on its commitment to make continuous product innovations that help customers overcome obstacles and accelerate their Zero Trust journeys—particularly in cloud-based environments.

Shields has more than 20 years of experience in product management and sales engineering in the Information Technology industry, with a focus on Zero Trust Network Access, FinTech, IP, Security and Financial Extranets.

Prior to joining Appgate, Shields served as Director, Strategic Partnership Alliances for Netfoundry, where he developed partnerships with forward-thinking companies to help joint customers deploy secure, simple and agile cloud-enabled networks. Previously, he worked for CenturyLink (prior to its acquisition by Lumen) for 14 years in sales engineering, solution architecture and product management roles.
