Gerald Beuchelt – Data Connectors

Gerald is the Chief Information Security Officer/Vice President for LogMeIn responsible for the security, compliance, and technical privacy of LogMeIn’s products and corporate assets.

In his prior role, he was Chief Security Officer for Demandware, a Salesforce Company, responsible for security and acting Chief Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer for Demandware’s German subsidiary.

At MITRE, Gerald was a Principal Information Security Engineer with focus on information assurance and identity management, and applying these technologies in the context of complex government environments. He worked closely with technical standards communities, business partners and suppliers, as well as senior representatives of MITRE’s government sponsors.

Gerald worked before for Sun Microsystems, Inc. in various roles, including the Business Alliances Group of Sun’s Chief Technologist’s Office. Earlier at Sun he was one of the principal engineer working on strategy and technology evaluation of Sun’s competitors. This included an intense long-term collaboration with internal and external legal counsel on anti-trust and intellectual property subjects.

Gerald is on the Board of Directors for the National Cyber Security Alliance. He is also member of the Infragard Member Alliance Boston Chapter Board of Directors and the IT Sector Chief, as well as a National Subject Matter expert for Infragard. Gerald volunteers as Chairman of the Information Systems Advisory Committee (ISAC) of Burlington, MA.

Gerald holds a Master of Science degree in theoretical physics.
