Don Cox has over 30 years of experience in technology. Currently, the Chief Information Security Officer at MEDNAX. In his role Don is responsible for cloud and on-premise cybersecurity operations and engineering, identity access management, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, risk, and compliance.

Before MEDNAX, Don was the Chief Information Officer at Health and Husman Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Agency. He served as the Chief Information Officer in the pharmaceutical and professional consulting arena, and President of a commercial data center. He has held executive leadership positions in numerous government agencies, including support for the White House and Congress. Don was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force in Washington DC. Also, served in the US Army. In all roles, he is/was a driving force as it relates to building strong teams, innovation, and adding to the bottom line.

Don holds an MBA, Masters of IT Management, Graduate Certificate in Chief Information Officer Competencies, CISM, PMP, ITIL, and other industry certifications.
