A Principal in the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) at AWS, Angelo helps customers to understand more deeply how AWS builds and operates its highly secure cloud platform. Covering a vast range of topics across both the internal and external landscape, OCISO engages on everything from internal oversight to helping customers set the highest bar for security and compliance postures. Angelo has a special passion for internal security operations and keeping customers safe, secure, and worthy of our trust by continually monitoring and improving how AWS does security. In his 15 years before joining AWS, Angelo has been part of several security and networking startups from inception through to sale, and revels in listening to customer needs and helping them both move to the cloud, and make the best possible use of the tools available to them inside it.
