Throughout 12 years, Alex served the FBI in the capacity of a Special Agent, Supervisory Special Agent, and Unit Chief. He specialized in Counterterrorism and Cyber investigations and is a leading expert on cyberterrorism. In 2016, he became the CISO for Web.com, the parent company of Network Solutions and Yodle, and helped implement Zero Trust and securing DevOps practices. In 2019 he became the Director of IT Security at CSX, implementing similar practices.
