Our portal is not only for Developers but for everyone working in the IT industry: Engineers, SAP and System Admins, Product Managers, QAs and UX/UI Designers!
Why and How:
SwissDevJobs started in 2018 as a side-project in Zurich by developers frustrated with the existing job boards that looked like they were built in 2002.
If you are a Software Engineer and ever searched for a job, you probably noticed, that the existing job boards are a pain to use:
- Job descriptions are unstructured and don't mention the important things, like technologies or work methodology (are you writing unit tests?)
- Filtering and searching is broken - you can search but good luck finding the jobs that match your skills, experience, and preferences
- You never know where your application goes - directly to the company or to some middle man recruiting agency
We asked ourselves - how can we make it better? This is how the idea of SwissDevJobs came up.
